Teaching Stream Faculty Pension Discussion Forum

The Teaching Stream Faculty/Pension Committee invites all Teaching Stream Faculty to a forum dedicated to discussing questions about our current pension plan, which was analyzed in a report commissioned by the Faculty Association. We think you will find the comparison between our current Money Purchase Plan and Combination Plans informative.

Please join members of the FA Teaching Stream Faculty and FA Pension Committee to find out more and ask questions about the ins and outs of the two plans. Some of the questions we hope to answer in this meeting are as follows:

• What are the differences?
• What are the costs and benefits?
• How do we get representation on the Pension Board?
• What are the Equity issues?

Lynne Marks, FA President, will attend the meeting and the two pension consultants who created the report will be in attendance to answer questions.
